To the Alpha Upsilon chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma at James Madison University. Here you will find everything that is essential to us sisters including our history, symbols, philanthropy information, and what you need to know about recruitment.

Sigma Sigma Sigma exists to provide a lifelong sorority experience for women. In conjunction with the formation of this Mission, we reaffirm our commitment to the Sigma Sigma Sigma Declaration of Principles. These Principles elaborate on three basic tenets, which are the reasons for our existence as a Sisterhood.
To insure a perpetual bond of friendship
To develop strong womanly character
To promote high standards of conduct

Alumnae

An alumna is a member of Tri Sigma who is no longer attending a college or university with a Tri Sigma chapter on the campus. She may be any age – 20, 50 or 80. There are many exciting opportunities for alumnae members who stay active and involved in the Sorority. Alumnae Chapter membership, National service, and working with a collegiate chapter are just a few of the possibilities. Alumnae members who continue to participate in our National Organization find many rewards such as personal and career development, opportunity for philanthropic and community service, and fellowship.

Sigma Sigma Sigma serves as a membership of more than 70,000 women. Sigma alumnae are located in every state in the union and in many overseas locations too. In well over 100 cities across the country Tri Sigmas are formally organized in Alumna Chapters that continue to serve the needs of Sisters no longer in college. They provide excellent opportunities for continued participation, for Sisterly sharing, and for service to the community.
